Take Me To

Take Me To began with somewhere to go. Its first title was Take Me To Another Place. During the release process, Deer Jade shortened it. Another Place disappeared from the title, but it stayed in the artwork, half visible, like a destination that refuses to explain itself.

The track is a groovy house bouncer built around an unfinished invitation. It keeps moving without telling you where you are supposed to arrive. Five minutes and nineteen seconds of rhythm, pressure and a question that probably makes more sense with your feet than with a paragraph.

Take me inside. Upside. Down, round and round.

Take me to India. To the dance floor. To the bathroom. To the next corner.

Take me out of the shit show. Take me back to the same place and let me see it differently.

Dooowadiddy.

Maybe another place is not another place at all. Maybe it is a memory, an idea, an inspiration, a question, or the same room with a different point of view.

The title stops before the destination.

Take Me To…

The rest is yours.
