About

Alma Linda carries more than one musical geography into her sets. A Chilean DJ with Russian roots, based in Berlin, she moves through techno, house and disco with an ear for the memories and cultural histories inside a record. The places she has lived are part of that approach. So are the lyrics, people and backgrounds behind the music she chooses.

Music and community

Her work also connects the dancefloor with journalism and activism. As the founder of ECLECTICA, she brings a focus on intersectional feminism and queer community to her practice. Her artist biography places LGBTQ representation and the challenges facing those communities alongside the music itself. The invitation is social as well as musical: a place for people to meet, connect and find space for different ways of being.

Across the dancefloors

Her published mixes offer several ways into that range. The archive moves between Mayan Warrior at Burning Man, Fusion’s Extravaganza and Garbicz, where recordings include collaborations credited to Alma Linda & The Rainbows. A set with Danilo Timm at Garbicz’s Seebühne adds another shared performance to the collection. More recent selections include a Mixmag LATAM mix and a recording from Sisyphos Strand, both published in 2026.

Recorded productions give another perspective on those connections. El Mago & La Loba appeared on Tropical Twista, while Oyo Oshun y Oba brought her together with El Mago on Shango. On I AM YOU’s ALL OF US 001, she collaborates with BROLORIZO on Strip Away From Your Body. Together, these releases and recordings show DJing, collaborative music and community work as parts of the same life.
