Gidal connects house and Italo disco with the colour of new wave and the attitude of indie dance. Born in Israel and based in Spain, he brings those references into a selection that also makes space for nu-disco and music from further afield. His public mix archive connects Tel Aviv and Barcelona, giving listeners a way to hear that approach in different rooms.

Between Tel Aviv and Barcelona

A recording from Pink Lab at Kuli Alma captures the second hour of one of those nights. In his own note accompanying the February 2022 upload, he remembers the people and the atmosphere on the dance floor. Another Kuli Alma recording followed that April. Heard alongside his April 2024 mix and Inner Circulo in Barcelona, published in 2026, these sets offer a continuing record of his work as a selector.

From selection to production

His catalogue also moves from collecting and combining records into making his own interventions. In March 2026 he shared an edit of Yehudit Ravitz’s BOLERIO through his SoundCloud account. On I AM YOU’s first compilation, ALL OF US 001, he contributes Joy, bringing his interest in melody and groove into a release of his own.
