Nicaré brings a pianist’s sense of melody into the club. Born and raised in Paris and now based in Thailand, he works as a DJ, producer and live musician. Jazz piano is an important part of that background: the keyboard gives him a way to respond to other musicians and add a live melodic voice alongside electronic records.

Keys inside the club

His official biography describes an approach that crosses house, deep house, tech house and nu-disco, with room for broken beats, soul and other rhythmic influences. His sets can include live keys, bringing performance into the selection itself. The connection between jazz and dancing is a recurring interest, with musical conversation and the possibilities of improvisation central to the way he describes playing alongside DJs.

A home in Thailand

In Thailand, he is a resident at Eden Garden on Koh Phangan and a returning artist at Wonderfruit. His production collaborations include Jungle Whisper with Robbie Akbal on Sol Selectas. The pair come together again on I AM YOU’s ALL OF US 001 with Ready To Dance feat. Alice Rose. Alongside the mixes and live keys, these records document another part of his work: developing musical ideas with other artists and carrying them into a finished release.
