METAFLORE’s route into music began with a change of direction. After ten years working in market finance in New York and London, Flore moved to Paris and made space for a creative vocation. A first professional DJ appearance in Tulum became a turning point. The response from the audience and the people around her encouraged her to pursue the work further.

A selection shaped by place

Her musical vocabulary moves through deep house, melodic techno, nu-disco and Afrobeat. Travel and encounters with different people feed the collection of records she draws from. In her own booking biography, she describes shaping each performance around its setting and audience. That attention to context sits alongside the range of styles, allowing the selection to change with the room.

Paris, London and Lisbon are recurring places in that story. Her performance history includes Silencio and Taboo in Paris, Maddox and Socialista in London, and Monaverde in Lisbon. Her recorded sets extend that map: a December 2024 performance at La Folie Douce in Val Thorens places her music in an Alpine setting, while Belle Époque’s archive includes a New Year’s Eve set from the Magic Room at Silencio.

From the room to the record

Those recordings document different settings in a career that began with the decision to leave finance and develop as a DJ. Funk My Soul, her contribution to ALL OF US 001, adds an original production to that growing record of performances and mixes.
